Let us congratulate Konrad Wetzker, the founder of BCG’s Budapest office, on his 75th birthday!

We invited him on this occasion to share his thoughts with us in an open conversation with our team. Quite a number of us know him, but an increasing number of the current and ex-BCGers of the Budapest office did not have the chance of working with him. He founded BCG’s Budapest office in 1997 and led it for more than a decade. His reflections were not only a journey through the early days of BCG in Hungary, but also a masterclass in leadership, values, and what it means to build something that lasts.
